Leyland RAM Installation

Despite the best efforts of the M6, the installation meeting of the Leyland Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners, No. 1002 started on time and the normal business of the lodge was swiftly dispatched by the Worshipful Commander, WBro Derek Easton.
The main business of the evening was to install the master elect, the lodge SW, Bro Colin Mills. Colin was installed in a delightful and sincere manner by

At the conclusion of the ceremony the principal guest, VWBro Ian Nairn RAMGR Assistant Provincial Grand Master rose to bring the greetings of the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, Brother Keith Alan Beardmore. Ian congratulated Derek on the way he had installed Colin and all the team who had taken part in the ceremony. Ian was please to inform the brethren that the PGM was recovering well from his recent surgery and was hoping to make his first outing at the Mark Ball in October, Ian wished Colin the very best of health and happiness for the coming year.

The new Worshipful commander then returned to the items on the summons and was delighted to announced that no less than three Grand Lodge certificates were to be presented. WBro Paul Snape, RAMGR the PGM’s special representative for the group, gave the explanation of the certificate to the attentive recipients.

The Worshipful commander concluded the business of the lodge and the brethren retired to the festive board where a fine meal was consumed.
